LavaLock has totally redesigned the conventional wisdom of Griddle plates for Weber Kettle and UDS Ugly Drum Smoker. 21.5" od (22" nominal)
The ALL new K series Flat top grills solve 2 major problems with conventional flat top griddle plates:
- No Warp design. Extra thick 10 gauge steel w/ reinforcement rails virtuallu eliminates warpage!
- No Flare ups or fires. Slotted Drip tray rails accept our stainless drip pan (optional) or save money and use your own common 4.5 x 9 loaf pan (disposable foil or regular)! Simply push excess grease down the hole, just like a commercial grade flat top. This eliminates the most common cause of flare ups and grease fires.
- Plus the added benefit of handles for easy removal of the griddle plate when you are done cooking.
- Lasts a lifetime. All of this in a really affordable price tag.

Weber Kettle 22.5" & 55 Gallon UDS Ugly Drum Smoker
Also fits some Big Green Egg or Kamado Grills that utilize a 21.5" grill grate
Precautions.
- Season before use. Store dry. Heat to Sanitize
- Clear excess grease into drip pan to help avoid grease fires.
- Clean with scraper or wet rag while hot.
- Always wear proper high heat gloves while cleaning or removing.
- Do not leave unattended while in use.
How to season your new grill grate:
♨️Wash with soap and water, dry well
♨️Coat fully with cooking oil
♨️Heat grate in cooker at 350F for 2-3 hours
♨️Careful to avoid burns, add a light coat of cooking oil 1/2 way through cook
♨️Oil regularly, if needed. Often cooking on the grill will keep it seasoned.
♨️Should grill ever rust, remove rust with sandpaper and re-season.
♨️If properly maintained, this grill grate will last for generations.
